These committees are actively meeting on a continuous basis throughout the year for the Combustion Institute; they are: Finance Committee, ICISS Committee, Industry Relations Committee, Media and Outreach Committee Publication Committee and Governance Policy Committee.


Finance Committee

This committee is charged with the responsibility to advise the Board of Directors on the financial implications of Institute administration, activities and to recommend financial policies to the Board.

This committee is charged with the responsibility to review proposals for the International Combustion Institute Summer School.

This committee is charged with the responsibility to discuss and suggest strategies to strengthen the relations between academia and industry within the Combustion Institute.

This committee is charged with the responsibility of identifying effective means of communicating to a broad population the importance of combustion science and applications and to recommend specific outreach and public relation strategies that will enable the mission of the Combustion Institute.
